What are the areas where you serve?
Our vision is to be the #1 Taco Catering Service in southern California; that’s why we cater in San Diego, Orange County, San Bernardino County, Riverside and Los Angeles! We want more people to try our delicious tacos!
What insurance coverage and licenses do you have?
Tacos Don Jorge knows the importance of doing things right, that’s why we are in compliance with all the permits and licenses required to cater your event: Business License – Food Handler – General Liability, Workers Compensation & Health Permit.
How is the Taco Premium package?
This is our most popular package; full catering service with handmade tortillas cooked on site! Great for all kind of events; birthdays, graduations, social gatherings, baby showers, corporate events, employee recognition and any special occasion.
For this package we cook on site, we arrive 1 hour before the eating time for setup, and we serve for 2 hours. With fresh food and excellent service we take care of everything.
Do you offer vegetarian / vegan menu?
Yes, because we understand the importance of getting healthier options, we offer a variety of choices in order to satisfy your needs.
What is Full Catering Service?
In a Full catering service we’ll do the following :
bring all the equipment we need to cater your event
Install a beautiful presentation for our tables
set up and get the food ready to serve at the previous accorded time and location.
our standing staff will assist your guests to serve in a buffet style tables
stocked delicious Mexican food for your guests to enjoy and serve for the according time leave the place clean and clear with leftovers packed for you to keep
How much space do you need?
We usually need a 10’x10’ space, if you don’t have it don’t worry, we can accomodate our setup and work on the designated area.
How long will you be serving?
Taco Delivery: 30 minutes for preparation and 1 hour of service assistance; Taco premium: 1 hour for preparation and 2 hours serving, Taco Wedding: 30 minutes for preparation, a cocktail hour with appetizers and 90 minutes serving. If you need extra time you can add it to your order. Our Taco Meal is just a drop off service.
How many servers cater my event?
Our outstanding staff is trained to cater any type of event, we just need to know the guests number, the location and the package you selected and we will designate the according number of servers.
Do you have handmade tortillas?
Yes, for the Taco Premium and Taco Wedding we prepare handmade tortillas in front of you and your guests!
How many plates / tacos do you calculate per person?
We estimate 4 tacos per person, but you can add extra food if you need to, like appetizers and entrees such tamales, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, rolled tacos, ceviche, quesadillas and more.
Is there any extra fees?
(as traveling, gas, mileage, service).
The final balance includes price plus tax, We are clear from the beginning, no hidden fees, only gratuity is at your discretion. Is the tip included? We do not automatically add gratuity; you can add it for the workers at your discretion.
